Alder Labs reports that its fictional Atlas collaboration service was unavailable for some users between 10:42 a.m. and 12:08 p.m. UTC on July 5, 2026. The company says normal service has been restored.
According to the statement, an incorrect routing configuration was introduced during scheduled maintenance. The change was reversed, and queued notifications were processed after service recovered. The fictional company says it found no indication of data loss.
“We are reviewing the release safeguards that allowed the configuration to reach production,” said fictional operations director Theo Grant.
